God has spent eons tending galaxies, balancing gravity, and coaxing new stars into being. When They return to Earth, Their first experiment with the dangerous gift of free will, the world is almost unrecognizable.

Temples have gift shops. Libraries reduce the classics to sixty-second experiences. Leaders protect their procedures, scholars debate while wisdom slips away, and faith too often becomes another weapon. Somewhere along the way, humanity seems to have lost the key to becoming better.

Searching for answers, God visits the halls of power, academia, religion, and the crowded streets of a modern city. What They find is smaller than a commandment and more difficult than a miracle: a meal shared without ceremony, a stranger noticed, and an ordinary person choosing kindness when no one is watching.
